Madukan Wax
Maduka utilized a tough magical wax as both brick and mortar in the construction of their buildings. This wax could become incredibly hard after being secreted by a hiveman, which was much, much stronger than normal wax. Madukan wax had a melting point triple that of paraffin wax (204 degrees Celsius).
Madukan wax could be molded or carved into pointed or sharp-edged shapes, allowing them to serve as weapons.
People who were brave enough to harvest some of this wax could utilize it in other forms of construction.
The colour of natural madukan Wax depended on the hive membership of the maduka that secreted it. ![[Maduka#^da63ed]]
